Who it's for
Candidates with an interview on the calendar who want to find out how they actually perform under interview pressure. We recommend booking at least one Interview Prep session prior to booking your mock interview, so the mock measures a version of you that's already been built.
185:1
The last time LAFD published its numbers, more than 13,000 people applied. All 13,000 filled out the same application. ~6500 passed the written exam. Only 70 recruits made it to the academy. The interview is where those 70 recruits separated themselves from the crowd.

About the session
A full-length, timed, scored simulation of the real thing: panel-style questions, a formal setting, and no do-overs mid-answer. It is where you find out, in private, how you actually perform under interview pressure, while there is still time to fix it.
How it works:
- 90 minutes on Zoom. You are questioned panel-style and timed, exactly like a real oral board.
- You are scored on a rubric modeled on how panels actually evaluate: communication, preparation, judgment, values, and fit.
- We debrief immediately, question by question, while it is fresh: what landed, what did not, and why.
Every mock includes:
Real oral board questions.
The same style of questions OCFA, LAFD, and Orange County panels actually ask, not generic practice prompts pulled off a forum.
The full recording of the interview.
Watch yourself the way the panel saw you. Painful the first time, powerful every time after.
A live scored debrief against the rubric.
